Yes. You must apply using your current legal name. Do not apply using a nickname. If your current legal name does not match the name which is on your birth certificate, passport, or naturalization papers, due to reasons such as marriage or legal name change, then you must submit additional proof, such as:
- Photocopy of marriage certificate if your legal name changed because of marriage
- Photocopy of legal name change paperwork if you legally changed your name
