JET Program USA has 19 offices across the United States which act as interview sites and departure locations.
Salt Lake City, Utah, and Spokane, Washington, are special cases in that these cities are only departure locations and not an interview locations for our Program.
Applicants intending to depart from Salt Lake City, Utah, for the 2026 JET Program must interview virtually with the Consulate-General of Japan in Denver, Colorado. Applicants intending to depart from Spokane, Washington, for the 2026 JET Program must interview virtually with the Consulate-General of Japan in Seattle, Washington. After acceptance into the Program in the spring of 2026, successful applicants who wish to depart for Japan from Salt Lake City must inform the Denver JET Program Coordinator. The Denver JET Program Coordinator will make the necessary arrangements for their departure from Salt Lake City, Utah. Successful applicants who wish to depart for Japan from Spokane must inform the Seattle JET Program Coordinator. The Seattle JET Program Coordinator will make the necessary arrangements for their departure from Spokane, Washington.
