Background checks completed before September 1, 2024 are not acceptable for the 2025 JET Program. Additionally, only candidates who have a criminal record or who are seeking Early Departure consideration should supply a background check at the time of their interview. All other candidates should wait until they receive their final acceptance notification and instructions from their interview location before starting their background checks. After you have passed the initial screening stage of the selection process, your JET Program coordinator will provide specific instructions for submitting the FBI Criminal History Check.
