What kinds of documents can be used as proof of expected graduation?

Proof of Expected Graduation is required for all applicants who are completing their Undergraduate degree (i.e. a Bachelor’s) at the time of application. We request this document as proof that you will graduate with your bachelor’s degree by the June 25th, 2027 deadline for the 2027 Program cycle. Acceptable: A letter written on university letterhead

Yes. Many individuals apply in the fall of their final year. In order to be eligible, you must complete your degree and have it conferred by June 25, 2027 for the 2027 JET Program. No. Our guidelines are quite clear that an applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree conferred before they can be a participant on the JET Program.
